Accurate positioning is very important to an immersive gaming experience. As such, NG3 implements four pressure control dampers to adjust air pressure balance between the front and rear acoustic chambers.

A combination of filtering and physical tuning precisely control the timbre of each frequency band, which makes sound positioning an instinctive reaction.

Information is key to team-based games. NF ACOUS engineers that specializes in sound recording technology, has fine-tuned the omnidirectional MEMS microphone found on NG3. Combined with the in-line control chamber with excellent acoustic structure, it provides a wider frequency range, lower distortion, higher signal-to-noise ratio, resulting in clear and precise communication.

An integrated filtering network tuning brings elevates the dynamic driver to the next level. The magnet used in MCL-10 is a high-performance rare earth neodymium iron boron magnet, which optimizes the magnetic field. Combined with pressure balancing acoustic chamber and high density composite diaphragm, the driver results in high sensitivity, high dynamic transient performance, and overall balanced timbre.

The shape of NG3 is created on years of experience by NF ACOUS engineers. The nozzle is slightly curved to mimic the shape of the second bend in the ear, a curve is put in place to reduce pressure against the crus helix, and a slight protrusion to add support on the concha. The short of it is this: the shape is ergonomic and very comfortable for long listening or gaming sessions.

It's very frustrating to be disturbed by noise while gaming. NG3 offers passive noise reduction up to 25dB, so even if your roommates are playing instruments, singing, or playing cards, it won't affect your outstanding performance in the game. The reverse is true as well if you want to respect your neighbours or loved ones and not wake them up during late night games.

Silicone ear tips not only provides comfortable isolation but also affects the sound performance. NG3 comes with a total of 4 sizes of NF Audio MS42 silicone ear tips: XS, S, M, and L. The outer 30 degrees nozzle and inner 40 degrees silicone material has just the right balance of hardness. The snap-fit structure design is sturdy and not easy to fall off. The shape is intentionally designed for comfort and sounds quality.
